A new generation of industrial fiber-reinforced composite filaments for Hyper FFF®
The Hyper Core filament line is oriented towards a new generation of professional and industrial fiber-reinforced composite filaments for Hyper FFF®.
Fiber-reinforced composite filaments are the ideal material for the production of industrial and end-use parts, as well as for demanding applications requiring superior strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. However, high printing speeds using fiber-reinforced filament bring many challenges such as reduced flowability, poorer interlayer bonding, and faster nozzle wear.
To overcome these challenges, the Raise3D Hyper Core PPA CF25 filament has been developed. It utilizes special extrusion technology to form a fiber-rich core where the majority of carbon fibers (25 wt.%) are well-aligned and distributed. During high-speed printing, the outstanding thermal conductivity of the carbon fiber-rich core accelerates filament melting in the hot end. Simultaneously, the higher residual thermal energy from the fiber-rich core enhances polymer healing and welding processes at the interfaces of adjacent lines. Compared to regular PPA CF, Hyper Core PPA CF25 significantly improves Z-directional strength, surface quality, and nozzle lifespan. It is ideal for industrial applications demanding high performance, stability, and efficiency.
