What is the heat resistance of PolyLite™ CosPLA?

During our market research, we identified 4 needs for cosplay applications:

- Sandability
- Durability
- Paintability
- Heat resistance

Although PolyLite™ CosPLA meets the first 3 main requirements, it maintains the same heat resistance as regular PLA (~60˚C).
We have various formulas that increase heat resistance but make significant compromises on ease of printing. (which is often the case with 3D printing materials: Easy printing and heat resistance are the two main characteristics we all desire from a material, but their development poses the greatest challenge).
Since we already have a high-quality ABS with excellent printability and dimensional stability, we recommend our PolyLite™ ABS for cosplay applications requiring high heat resistance. (it also stands out for durability and sandability).
Alternatively, we can also recommend PolyLite™ ASA, which has the same properties as PolyLite™ ABS and is additionally weather-resistant.
